Biomedical Engineering Co-Op - Medical Device

Description

Gain hands-on experience in a medical device development environment and have a large impact in a variety of collaborative and independent engineering projects: 

  • Assist with setup and verification of our medical device manufacturing cleanroom
  • Create, review, and improve manufacturing protocols
  • Perform small-scale pilot production assembly for testing and process improvement
  • Create, review, and improve test protocols
  • Use test equipment to evaluate designs

Our life-changing product will be used in the operating room during surgery to reduce or prevent neural and tissue injuries.

Skills you’ll develop during your Co-Op:

  • Researching, brainstorming and evaluating design solutions
  • Data acquisition, measurements, and monitoring systems
  • Testing, documentation, project management, planning, and team reviews

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Bioengineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields.

The ideal candidate would be energetic and creative with an interest in medical devices.

All training will be provided.
